Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Police Constable Grade II in the services of the Tamil Nadu Police, within a specified time frame as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that candidature of the petitioner was rejected by the fourth respondent by order dated 15.10.2017, and without challenging such order, the Petitioner cannot straight way seek any direction for appointment.

2.In these circumstances, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition to impugn the order of rejection and for consequential directions, and he has made an endorsement to that effect.

3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with such liberty to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
