For Respondent : M/s.P.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.237 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.237 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that the petitioner is having ten previous cases in Crime Nos.264 and 248 of 2013, 145 of 2017, 283 of 2019, 181 and 284 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police, Crime No.620 of 2014 on the file of the Alangulam Police Station, Crime No.574 of 2017 on the file of the Tenkasi Police Station, Crime No.241 of 2014 on the file of the Mukoodal Police Station and Crime No.208 of 2014 on the file of the Pappakudi Police Station.

3. Considering the nature of offence and the antecedents of this petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
