ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent by implementing the memorandum dated 17.11.2014 issued by the 1st respondent in O.Mu.A3/4872/2014 to issue separate patta to the petitioner for the house site bearing Survey No.236/17 to an extent of 6 1/2 cents situated at Jeyankondannnilai Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.Heard both sides.

3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, seeking a separate patta in respect of the land in question, approached the respondents and subsequently, the first respondent by memorandum dated 17.11.2014 in O.Mu.A3/4872/2014, directed the second respondent to take appropriate action in this regard and some internal communications among the officials have also taken place. However, the claim of the petitioner is not yet considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the representation of the petitioner for issuance of separate patta would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 6.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, on the Memorandum dated 17.11.2014 issued by the first respondent, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the interested parties, if any, for filing all necessary documents, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already passed.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
