Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant re-employment till the end of the academic year 2017-18 (i.e.) 31.05.2018 in the 4th respondent school and disburse the salary and other attendant benefits by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2017. The petitioner, who is presently working as Headmistress of ST.Lucia Primary School, Pragasapuram, Sathankulam Taluk, Tuticorin District, relying upon the G.O.Ms.No.1643, Education Department dated 27.10.1988 and G.O.Ms.No.313, Finace (Pay Cell) Department, dated 25.10.2017 issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, has filed this Writ Petition for permitting her to continue in service on reemployment till the end of the academic year as she will be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

attaining the age of superannuation in middle of the academic year i.e., on 30.11.2017.

2.Heard M.S.Jeyakarthik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.S.Sadesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader and Mr.Fr.V.John Kennedy, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.Before filing this Writ Petition, the petitioner has made representations dated 01.11.2017 and 10.11.2017 to the third and fourth respondents for the aforesaid relief, which is stated to have not been disposed till date.

4.Mr.Fr.V.John Kennedy, learned counsel appears in behalf of the third and fourth respondent on receipt of notice from this Court, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid representations of the petitioner would be considered on merits and appropriate orders would be passed thereon in accordance with law on or before 29.11.2017.

5.Recording the aforesaid submission made, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
