Union of India reported in (2015) 7 SCC 291 within the time period stipulated by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to revoke the suspension order passed against the petitioner and reinstate him in the post of Record Clerk in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ajay Kumar Choudhry Vs. Union of India reported in (2015) 7 SCC 291. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 05.07.2013, based on a criminal case registered against him for the offence under Sections 7 and 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and the case is under investigation. The petitioner made a representation dated 08.06.2016 to the respondent to revoke the suspension order and also to reinstate him in service. Since no action is forthcoming till date, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking the aforesaid relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and orders be passed on merits and in accordance with law.

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
