ORDER

Though the prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to restore the petitioner's application that was returned by the 2nd respondent dated 19.10.2016 and give service connection in respect of the land in S.No.450/9A1, Seelapadi Village, Dindigul Taluk, Dindigul District, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.10.2016 that was re-presented, seeking electricity connection and to pass orders, within a time frame. 2.In view of the limited relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.10.2016 that was re-presented, seeking electricity connection in respect of the land in S.No.450/9A1, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Seelapadi Village, Dindigul Taluk, Dindigul District, and to pass orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to submit copy of the application dated 19.10.2016, if required, along with necessary charges, if any. No costs.
