ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506(i) of I.P.C and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, in Crime No.13 of 2017, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the first petitioner and the defacto complainant was solemnized on 13.12.2007. There was a family dispute between the petitioners and the defacto complainant. The first petitioner, on instigation of the other petitioners harassed the defacto complainant. Now, the first petitioner married another lady. Hence, the complaint. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.It is seen that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail before this Court in Crl.OP(MD)No.17840 of 2017, dated 22.12.2017 on certain conditions. But, they did not produce sureties within time. Thereafter, they had filed an extension of time petition that was dismissed by this Court, on the ground that it was filed after a period of nine months.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Karur and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
