Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to effectively implement organ transplantation program in Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital as performed by the multi-speciality private hospitals in Tamilnadu and to direct the respondents to take immediate action to create special unit to identify the brain dead persons and to harvest organs from brain dead persons by encouraging and supporting to family members of the organ donors through counselling and other effective transparent manner in Madurai Rajaji Hospital, its available in multi-speciality private hospitals in Tamilnadu, which are involving organ harvesting and transplantation within the time stipulated by this Court.
