Respondent Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant patta to the petitioner by considering the representation dated 07.06.2016, within a time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

2.According to the Petitioner, his representation dated 07.06.2016 praying for issuance of patta in the subject matter in issue has not met with a positive response till date and as a matter of fact, his representation is pending on the file of the respondent without any progress.

3.In view of the fact that the Petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2016 is pending on the file of the respondent / Tahsildar, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, at this stage, this Court, in the interest of justice and fair play, directs the respondent / Tahsildar, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 07.06.2016 and dispose of the same on merits in a dispassionate manner, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The Petitioner is directed to lend his assistance and cooperation to the respondent / Tahsildar, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukkottai District so as to enable to latter to dispose of his representation dated 07.06.2016 within the time prescribed by this Court.

5.With the above said observation and direction, the Writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.is closed.
