ORDER

Aggrieved by Award No.3/2013/2, dated 31.01.2014, passed by the Special District Revenue Officer, Land Acquisition - National Highways, Thiyagaraja Nagar, Tirunelveli, in respect of the land covered in S.No.187/21 for a sum of Rs.2,01,873/-, the petitioner had filed an appeal to the first respondent, on 10.03.2014, followed by Reminders, dated 10.03.2014 and 17.06.2016, for enhancement of compensation and since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, he is before this Court.

2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate was put on notice.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case of the petitioner, this Court only directs the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dispose of the representation of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that this order should not be construed as giving any positive direction to the first respondent, who shall independently decide the issue depending upon the facts and circumstances of the case.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
