By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned Counsel takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 2 to 4.

3. Alleging that the respondents 2 to 4, being the Public Information Officers as well as the First Appellate Authority, failed to provide the information sought by the petitioner, under the RTI Act, he has submitted a complaint / representation dated 13.04.2017 before the first respondent, Chief Information Commissioner, for necessary action and as the same is kept pending, without any action, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking a direction to dispose of his representation, within a stipulated time limit.

4. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
