PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2017 and pass necessary orders to sanction one Lab Assistant post with grant (from the common pool vested with the 1st respondent) and pass necessary orders within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3. The petitioner-school, being a Private Aided Higher Secondary School, is before this Court and their grievance is that there is no Lab Assistant Post in their school. Therefore, they have approached the authorities for several times and have also submitted a representation dated 13.07.2017, seeking to sanction https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

one post of Lab Assistant for their school. As the said representation is kept pending, without any action, the present petition came to be filed.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the authorities are inclined to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner-school, on merits, within a stipulated time limit.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.07.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
