O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to issue temporary Cracker License to the petitioner for his premises bearing D.No.102N and 105, Seiyathu Complex, Madurai Road, Tirunelveli based on his application dated 23.09.2020.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the respondents are waiting for 'No Objection Certificate' from the Fire Service Department. As soon as the 'No Objection Certificate is received, the respondents will issue temporary cracker license to the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4.Since Deepavali festival is forthcoming, the respondents are directed to expedite the formalities in getting No Objection Certificate from the Fire Service Department and to issue a temporary cracker license to the petitioner, if he is otherwise eligible.
