Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to conduct the enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.07.2018 and to pass suitable order to redeem her seedhana jewels from the respondents 5 and 6 within time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the third respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 09.07.2018, given by the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that Seedhana Articles are lying with the 5th and 6th respondents and she has been driven away from the matrimonial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

house. He also brought to the notice of this Court a complaint was already given to All Women Police Station, Theni, in this regard and the said Police Station has also issued a CSR in CSR No.484 of 2017. Subsequently, this complaint was closed by the All Women Police Station, Theni on 26, June, 2018.

3. The learned counsel would further submit thereafter another complaint was given before the All Women Police Station, Usilampatti by a complaint dated 09.07.2018 and the same is pending before the said police station.

4. The learned Government Advocate would submit that based on the complaint dated 09.07.2018 given by the petitioner, the fourth respondent will proceed further in accordance with law and enquire the parties and will also refer the case to the District Social Welfare Officer.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the fourth respondent along with the copy of the complaint dated 09.07.2018 and the fourth respondent shall thereafter proceed further in accordance with law and refer the parties to the District Social Welfare Officer.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
