Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Secretary to Government, Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2016 regarding the regularization of their services in the cadre of Animal Husbandry Assistant right from the date of joining i.e. 28.03.2007 in the light of decision taken in respect of similarly placed persons in G.O.Ms.No.49 Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries (AH-6) Department dated 20.02.2011 and G.O.Ms.No.185 Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries (AH-6) Department dated 29.02.2015 based on the orders of the Hon'ble High Court which were confirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench and Hon'ble Supreme Court.

ORDER
The petitioners were all serving as Animal Husbandry Assistants, in the Office of District Live Stock Farm, Chettinadu, Sivagangai District. After being initially appointed on daily wage as full-time workers in the Office of the District Live Stock Farm, Chettinatdu, Sivagangai District, they were all promoted as Animal Husbandry Assistant in the regular time scale of pay, with effect from 28.03.2007. retirement, their services were not regularised in the cadre of Animal Husbandry Assistant, though they were promoted so and joined duty in the regular time scale of pay on 28.03.2007, however, services of similarly placed persons were regularised. In this regard, the petitioners sent the representations, dated 20.04.2016, to the Government for regularisation of their services with effect from the date of promotion, i.e.28.03.2007 on par with the similarly placed persons. But, so far no order has been passed by the respondents, forcing the petitioners to approach this Court for necessary relief.
2. Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate, submitted that the representations of the petitioners will be considered and suitable orders will be passed.
3. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners, dated 20.04.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the decision taken in respect of similarly placed persons vide G.O.Ms.No.49 Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries (AH-6) Department dated 20.02.2011 and G.O.Ms.No.185 Animal Husbandry, Dairying & Fisheries (AH-6) Department, dated 29.02.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
