ORDER
This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to make necessary entries in the revenue records by entering the petitioner's name in A register, 10(1) document, and Adangal in respect of the property comprised in S.No.408-1 of Keelapasalai Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District on the basis of petitioners representation dated 23.10.2017. 2.Heard both sides.
3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.The petitioner would submit that he was allotted with the Government land in question by way of assignment patta as early as in the year 1997 and ever since the petitioner has been in possession and enjoyment of the same. Though the petitioner sent several representations to the respondents, requesting to enter his name in revenue records in respect of the aforesaid land, no action has been taken. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
5.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits. 6.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
