ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 1st respondent to complete the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.1148/2017/A1 within a reasonable time.

2.Heard both sides.

3.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4.The petitioner, alleging that the enquiry proceedings initiated in O.Mu.No.1148/2017/A1, dated 01.03.2017 by the first respondent, on the basis of his representation, in respect of legal heirs certificate, is kept pending without any progress for several months, is before this Court and seeks an appropriate direction to the respondents.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the enquiry proceedings would be completed within the time stipulated by this Court. 6.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs first respondent to complete the enquiry proceedings in O.Mu.No.1148/2017/A1, dated 01.03.2017 and pass appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
