: Respondents PRAYER : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent i.e., the Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.06.2019 regarding sanction of pension and other retirement benefits, within a specified time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 01.06.2019 to sanction of pension and other retirement benefits, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the pension proposals have sent by the third respondent/Commissioner of Madurai Corporation to the Director of Local Fund Trust, Chennai. Hence, he seeks permission of this Court to close the instant writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

3. In view of the same, the instant writ petition is closed. No Costs.
