ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the first and second respondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 06.07.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is of family dispute. The third respondent is the own brother of the petitioner. The third respondent always made a quarrel with the petitioner in a drunken condition. He threatened the petitioner and his family members with dire consequences. Having no other way, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent Police seeking for Police protection. Since, no action was taken, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner and the third respondent are brothers. A complaint has been received and the enquiry has been conducted. Now, the parties agreed not to involve in any problem in future. Hence the respondent Police closed the complaint.
