ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner has filed a petition before the second respondent under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The petitioner wants the same to be disposed of expeditiously. 3.No exception can be taken to the said request. The second respondent is directed to pass order on the petition mentioned petition on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that the second respondent must necessarily put the third respondent on notice before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
