O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Certiorarified Mandamus, seeking to quash the order passed in e/f/vz;/08/brKM/2022, dated 27.06.2022 and consequently to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct the temple function that is to take place from 05.08.2022 to 07.08.2022 at Vadakutheru Village of Palamedu, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that previously the village people, who celebrated the festival for the temple, by name, Arulmigu Ayyanarsamy Temple, at Vadakutheru Village of Palamedu, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, had uncontrollably sent the bulls. was a law and order problem happened. Further, he stated that if the petitioner gives an undertaking by specifying the number of bulls to be participated in the festival and its owners' names, the respondent police is ready to consider the same.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to give such an undertaking and pleaded to grant permission for conducting temple festival, which is scheduled to be held from 05.08.2022 to 07.08.2022. at Vadakutheru Village of Palamedu, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District. Further, he stated that the respondent police rejected the petitioner's representation, dated 25.06.2022, by order dated 27.06.2022 in e/f/vz;/08/brKM/2022 and pleaded to quash the same. 4.I have considered the submissions made by both the parties. 5.In view of the above, the order passed by the second respondent in e/f/vz;/08/brKM/2022, dated 25.06.2022, is hereby set aside and the petitioner is directed to give a fresh application by stating the number of bulls to be participated in the festival and its owners' names. 3/5

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
