O R D E R
This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the petitioners' complaint dated 08.07.2022 under the criminal law by conducting an effecting investigation as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaint of the petitioners dated 08.07.2022 has been forwarded by the first respondent to the second respondent for investigation. The amount involved in this case is Rs. 75,00,000/- and the second respondent is not having jurisdiction, hence, the said complaint is pending.

In view of the above submission, the second respondent is directed to transfer the complaint of the petitioners dated 08.07.2022 to the third respondent/Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Thoothukudi District. On receipt of such complaint, the third respondent police is directed to take suitable action on the complaint of the petitioners dated 08.07.2022, within a period of three weeks thereafter.
