Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to issue transfer to the petitioner in the post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster at any of the existing vacant place in Kanyakumari District within the time period stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to transfer her in the same post of Higher Secondary School Headmaster to the existing vacant place at Kanyakumari District.

2. Ms.S.Srimathi,, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the second respondent is prepared to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2018 is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.08.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there are no legal impediments to do so.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
