By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal, at the stage of admission.
2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. Notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.
3. The petitioner, who is a member of the third respondent - Red Cross Society is before this Court and his grievance is that no salary or remuneration, whatsoever, is given to him, by the authorities, for the services rendered by him. has submitted a representation dated 28.06.2017 before the authorities and as the same is kept pending, without any action, the present petition came to be filed, seeking a direction to the authorities to dispose of his representation, on merits and within a stipulated time limit.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the other interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
