ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the orders of this Court dated 25.11.2024 in W.M.P(MD) No.17715 of 2024 in W.P(MD) No.20939 of 2024, wherein this Court had granted interim stay for recovery of the alleged excess amount paid to the writ petitioner.

2. Alleging that the pay has not been revised even after the interim order of this Court, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

According to the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent/University there was no interim stay for re-fixation of pay and the interim order was only for recovery of the alleged excess amount. He further submits that the alleged excess amount was not yet recovered and any recovery would be made only after final orders are passed in the main writ petition.

4. It is also clarified that the interim order was only as against recovery of the alleged excess amount that was already paid and not for re-fixation of pay. The re-fixation would depend upon the orders of this Court.

5. Considering the above said facts, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
