The instant writ petition has been filed by the Inspector of Police, Sivakasi Town (Circle) Police Station, Virudhunagar District, challenging his order of suspension dated 03.06.2015.

2.Pending writ petition, the petitioner has passed away on 13.10.2023, before the conclusion of the departmental proceedings. Therefore it is clear that the charges as against the writ petitioner have got abated and nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition. 2/4
