ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents No.1 to 2 to conclude an enquiry and take appropriate action against the respondents No. 3 to 7, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.03.2026.

2. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in this writ petition, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 3 to 7 respondents have indulged in disturbing with the Kumbhabishekam with respect to Mannarajya temple, which was conducted during the year 2025. The 3rd to 7th respondents have entered into the temple premises of Mannaraja temple without authority or permission of the petitioners on 08.03.2026 at about 08.00 am and in an intoxicated condition, had conducted puja by opening a temple by a fake key illegally, had also damaged several pooja articles in the temple. In this regard, the petitioner had already given a complaint before the second respondent police on 2/4

08.03.2026. However, the same is pending without disposal. Hence the writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate, submitted that it is all with respect to the matter of administration of the said temple and said the enquiry is still pending.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the second respondent police is directed to issue summon to the petitioner as well as the private respondents under Section 64 of BNSS and give an opportunity of hearing to both the parties and dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 08.03.2026 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
