ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant pension, gratuity and contributory provident fund in favour of the petitioner from the date of his retirement ie., on 01.01.1986. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the past 20 years, the claim of the petitioner for pension, gratuity etc., was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.10.2016 seeking pensionary benefits and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
