PRAYER:- Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the third respondent to provide adequate Police protection to the petitioners and their children life and limb on the basis of the representation given by the first petitioner on 16.08.2018.

ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent Police, to give Police protection to the petitioners and their children.

2.It is seen from the records that the second petitioner had given a complaint on 09.08.2018 against the respondents 4 to 8 and the same was registered in Crime No.194 of 2018, for the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 325, 506(i) and 323 of IPC. Subsequently, respondents 7 to 9 again indulged in violence against the second petitioner and again an FIR was registered in Crime No.197 of 2018 on 14.08.2018 for the offence under Section 448, 294(b), 323, 506(i) and 379 of IPC. Both these offences have happened within a span of five days. Even subsequent to the registration of these two FIRs, the threat perception to the petitioners continues and the petitioners have also given representation on 06.08.2018 and 20.08.2018.

3.This Court is satisfied that the third respondent has to immediately enquire into the complaints given by the petitioners and ensure that no further offence is committed against the petitioners by the respondents 4 to 10.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to immediately take action on the two FIRs registered in Crime Nos.194 and 197 of 2018 and also the subsequent complaints that were given on 16.08.2018 and 20.08.2018 and proceed in accordance with law and if necessary provide Police protection to the petitioners.
