This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection for participation of the petitioner in the temple festival of Arulmigu Chandraveera Swamy Kovil Situated at Kattanipatti Kattanipatti Post, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District on 25.06.2016 and 03.07.2016 as per the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2016.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 4.Because of the rival claim between two parties, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 would suggest that there can be a peace committee meeting, in which, the claim between two parties can be resolved and thereafter the respondent will decide to grant police protection. It is also conceded that as the function to be held very shortly, immediate arrangement will be made for conducting peace committee meeting.

5.Recording the above suggestion made by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents, this Writ Petition ordered.
