Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order dated 31.03.2015 passed by the first respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the first and second respondents to pay the risk coverage claim to the petitioner for his wife (M.Selvakumari) death which is covered under Policy No.757273791 with the second respondent Branch.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, challenging the order dated 31.03.2015 passed by the first respondent rejecting the petitioner's claim.

2.Today, it is submitted by the parties that, earlier, the matter has been referred for mediation before the Mediation Centre attached to this Bench, and the matter has been settled between the parties in the mediation, and the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.75,000/- (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) by way of Cheque, and a report has been received to that effect from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

3.Considering the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties, recording the same, this writ petition is closed. The report of the Mediation and Conciliation Centre shall form part of this order. No costs.
