This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 1736 of 2020, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(1) IPC, on the file of the first respondent police. 2.Since notice was issued to the defacto complainant, there is no representation on behalf of her.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the case in Crime No. 1736 of 2020 was closed as 'action dropped', on 18.06.2022.
