ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer, to cancel the patta in Patta No.487 with respect to property in Survey No.80/3 measuring 0.85.0 acres in Kannirajapuram, Ramanathapuram District and direct the third respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner herein. The petitioner is a senior citizen. The petitioner had given representation in this regard.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that though the patta today stands in the name of Jeyamohan, he had executed a rectification deed. The petitioner had also filed an earlier writ petition to cancel the sale deed, after that the said individual has executed a rectification deed. Now the patta will have to be cancelled and the name of the petitioner will have to be incorporated in the revenue records.

3. The first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and also to the aforementioned individual in whose names the patta today stands and after getting necessary clarification, proceed to do the needful. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent may keep in mind that the petitioner is a senior citizen.
4. This writ petition stands disposed of.
