ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.52 of 2021 dated 19.02.2021 and to file Final Report within a stipulated time.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.52 of 2020, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 448 & 506(i) IPC on 19.02.2021. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of six months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that eight witnesses have been examined so far and the investigation is going on in the right direction. He seeks two months time to complete the investigation.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file Final Report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After filing the Final Report, compliance Report must be submitted to the Registry of this Court.
