O R D E R

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to release his Tipper Lorry bearing registration No.TN-28AK-0581.

2. In response to the writ petition, today (i.e.20.09.2018) a counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondents. In the counter affidavit, it is stated that enquiry is pending in regard to the seizure of the vehicle belonging to the petitioner before the second respondent. Before conclusion of the enquiry, it appears that the petitioner has approached this Court by invoking its writ jurisdiction.

3. In view of the enquiry being conducted into the conduct of the petitioner in transporting illegal consignment, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On completion of enquiry, it is open to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders in regard to the request of the petitioner for release of his vehicle.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
