ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent to take necessary action upon the petitioner's complaint, dated 18.04.2022.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 18.04.2022, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the first respondent, but till now, no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police issued CSR.No.393 of 2022. On enquiry, the respondent police found that the petitioner is having illicit relationship with one Nalraj and also there was a dispute between them. Both of them appeared before the respondent police for enquiry and agreed to settle their issue amicably outside the Police Station. Hence, the respondent police kept the complaint pending for their amicable settlement.

4.In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
