Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2016 and permit the petitioner to conduct demonstration on 25.06.2016 at 11 a.m. near New Bus Stand, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli District.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2016 and permit the petitioner to conduct demonstration on 25.06.2016 at 11 a.m. near New Bus Stand, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli District.

2.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that the respondent has given an assurance that the representation would be looked into and appropriate orders would be passed.

5. In view of the said submission, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
