For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.60 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w. Section 7(1)(a)(ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Crime No.60 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner illegally transported 30 Bags of Rice (each contains 50 Kgs). Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent persons and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is having 5 previous cases. The investigation is yet to be completed. 5.Considering the fact and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the petitioner is having five previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. Hence, this Petition is dismissed.
