O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adalpadal scheduled to be held on 22.07.2019 at night 7.00 p.m to 12.00 a.m in connection with "Aani Festival" in Arulmigu Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Pattavan, Sri Sannasi Thirukovil at Thekkupatti Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2019.

2. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) takes notice for the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the cultural function Aaadal - Paadal at 7.00 p.m to 12.00 a.m in connection with Aani Festival in Arulmigu Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Pattavan, Sri Sannasi Thirukovil at Thekkupatti Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District. The petitioner made a representation to the second respondent on 19.06.2019 and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
