ORDER
The present petition has been filed by Accused No.1 in C.C.No.1122 of 2025 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein he is charged with the offences under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, and 471 of the IPC, and Sections 12(1)(b) and 15 of the Passport Act, 1967.
2. A perusal of the charge sheet reveals that the petitioner is alleged to have forged the credentials of the defacto complainant and created school records for the purpose of obtaining a passport; therefore, a complaint has been lodged by the Passport Officer.
3. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the credentials in the document have not been verified and, therefore, no case is made out against the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned Counsels appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. A perusal of the charge sheet clearly reveals that the petitioner is alleged to have used the credentials of the defacto complainant to open a bank account and to have forged school certificates for the purpose of obtaining a passport.
6. In such circumstances, this Court finds no legal grounds to quash the charge sheet, and there are no merits in the present quash petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
