ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct respondents No.1 to 3 to ensure that the Kumbabishekam and festivals of Sri Subramaniyar Temple, Solaikadu, are conducted jointly by all community people in accordance with the peace committee resolutions dated 28.04.2026 and 03.06.2019 and consequently the petitioner conducting the festival on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2026.

2. Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, notice to the private respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that the representation of the petitioner was rejected on the ground of election code of conduct.

4. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5. Since the elections are over, the respondent police is directed to facilitate the petitioner from conducting temple festival in terms of the peace committee resolutions dated 28.04.2026 and 03.06.2019.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
