ORDER

The petitioner herein challenging property tax Assessment No. 137/024/01252, Water tax No.137/024/00464, Ward - 24 dated 09.05.2022 had approached this Court to quash the same.

2. As per Section 23(A) of the District Municipalities Act, 1920 there is an appellate committee to which the petitioner has to make his grievance and file an appeal.

3. In view of the alternate remedy available to the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

4. Hence the petition stands dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for necessary relief. The original receipt to be handed over to the petitioner. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 15.07.2022 Index: Yes/No 2/4
