O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Alleging non-compliance with the directions issued by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.13864 of 2020, the petitioner has moved this contempt petition.

2. Learned Government Pleader, upon instructions, would submit that pursuant to the orders of this Court, a notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'), has been issued on 01.06.2023 and the same has been followed with the order under Section 6 of the Act on 23.06.2023. Since, seven days time granted to the encroacher to remove the encroachment will expire on 30.06.2023, the learned Government Pleader submits that after the expiry of the time granted, appropriate

action will be taken.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Government Pleader, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to renew it if the encroachment is not removed by 12.07.2023.
