This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent not to interfere with the civil dispute between the petitioner and fourth respondent under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a tenant under the fourth respondent and there is a civil dispute between them. However, the respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. He further submits that the petitioner suffered a decree before the Rent Controller concerned and he has also filed an appeal as against the same before the Rent Control Appellate Authority in RLPA No.458 of 2024.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, the respondent police have enquired into the matter. The 2/5
petitioner has also lodged a complaint. The complaints lodged by the petitioner and the fourth respondent were treated as petition enquiry in C.S.R.No.46 and 63 of 2024. Considering that it is a civil dispute, the respondent police have directed them to approach the Civil Court concerned.
