O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents to disburse the pension and retirement benefits of the petitioner, which is pending from the time since 2011.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he joined as Accountant in the respondent Department on 01.05.1995 and attained superannuation on 21.09.2011 after rendering 16 years of unblemished service; that though he was relieved from service, till date, he has not been paid retiral benefits due to him; that he made a representation dated 15.12.2016 to the 3rd with copies to the 1st and 2nd respondents and the same did not evoke response and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned

Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and the learned counsel for R3, who would submit that the respondents are prepared to consider the representation of the petitioner and to pass suitable orders on the same.

4. In view of the above submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the concerned respondent to consider the representation dated 15.12.2016, submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment to do so.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
