O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner alleges that on account of the salt pans being run by the respondents 6 to 10 herein, there has been a pollution of the ground water table and incursion of sea water. He has given a representation dated 05.05.2016 in this regard. 2.We direct the third respondent herein to enquire into the matter. If there is any pollution caused as the result of the salt pan activities, remedial steps shall be taken by the third respondent in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
