2.Heard the arguments of the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner at the time of argument restricted his prayer to S.No.387 alone. It is the case of the petitioner that he has been cultivating the Government land situated in S.No.387 for several years. Therefore, he submitted a representation seeking assignment of the land on payment of cost, as per the relevant Government Orders. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, he filed a Writ Petition in W.P.(MD) No.17321 of 2024. 4.
The said writ petition was disposed of with an observation that the decision regarding assignment shall be taken by the authorities concerned. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation on 07.10.2024 seeking assignment of the above said land by enclosing the order passed by this Court in WP(MD) No.17321 of 2024. The said representation has not been considered. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.
