ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to take proper action and release the petitioner's husband on emergency leave on 05.06.2025, 06.06.2025 and 07.06.2025, in the light of the petitioner's representation, dated 29.05.2025.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the convict prisoner is now under the preventive detention under the National Security Act, NSA No.02/2024, dated 16.11.2024, by the District Collector, Tirunelveli. Hence, the convict prisoner is not entitled for emergency leave.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
