This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent i.e., The Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's Revision Petition dated 19.07.2017 regarding inclusion of his name in the approved list of Assistants of Dindigul District for the year 2016, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Sadesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

entitlement of the claim made, the first respondent is directed to dispassionately consider the revision petition dated 19.07.2017 made by the petitioner and pass reasoned orders on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner and file a report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court on or before 31.01.2018.
4.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
