PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to conduct enquiry expeditiously dispose petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to take action in respect of the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2023. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the respondent police have not received any representation from the petitioner dated 17.04.2023. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has brought to the notice that the petitioner has though filed copy of the representation dated 17.04.2023, there is no signature of anybody on the said representation and that the petitioner has also not enclosed copy of the postal receipt or the acknowledgment to show that the representation has been actually served on the police. It is further submitted that if fresh representation is given to the respondent police by the petitioner, the police would take appropriate action.

3.Considering the circumstances, the petitioner is hereby directed to furnish fresh representation to the respondent police, on which the respondent police are directed to consider and dispose of the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
